Yesterday I visited a place I hadn’t been to before - Mont-Tremblant. Mostly known as a skiing place near Montreal, though I found it’s wonderful in the summer. I saw a performance by the Sam Roberts Band there last night. It was amazing! One of the best of their concerts I’ve seen. ---

Premier of Manitoba announces he’s moving the election date up from October to September; apparently all the parties have already been campaigning for weeks, so why not just get it done? Even if they were offered their jobs back, I doubt they’d accept. I’m sure that they will both run in the upcoming election, as independents, which is fine–we’ll see how they do. ---
