I forgot to say that when I arrived at UPS I had neglected to bring a card with the toast so I hurriedly wrote it out on a scrap of paper to be included in the box. Should I send the card anyway? ---

Imagine my surprise this afternoon, when I took Chloé out for her pre-dinner constitutional and found a rather large package on the front porch. In it was a hurriedly written out toast on a scrap of paper, two cool shot glasses, and a _very_ nice handmade throw, which is now on my reading couch. It was. I got home from yoga, and saw it sitting on the counter, and said to myself, “Girl, you forgot to mention the honey. You should tell **Baker** thanks.” But then I reheated my dinner, and it must have been bright and shiny, because I totally forgot. Thank you for the honey, too. ---

My box from @Shoeless contained souvenirs from a trip to Scotland he and his wife took last month! 1. A beautiful brown stoneware shot glass that read “Wee Dram from Scotland” 2. A keyring bottle opener 3. A postcard featuring Edinburgh Castle 4. A postcard featuring Inveraray Castle 5. A photo of him in their Glasgow hotel room wear his Lucky Labrador Brewing Company hat 6. A sampler box of three Highland single malt Scotch Whiskies: Loch Lomond, Tomatin Legacy, and Glengoyne 12 Year Old! The toast? “Slàinte Mhath”, which means “Cheers” or “Good Health”, which will most certainly be used when I use the shot glass and the whiskies. Thank you so very much. ---

You’re welcome! Enjoy. As an FYI for other Dopers, @Czarcasm had my name in _last year’s_ shot glass exchange, and the Lucky Labrador Brewing Company hat was one of the items he sent me. It quickly became one of my favorite ball caps and was one of a few I took with me on the trip. I thought it would be fun to get a picture of me wearing the hat somewhere on the trip and send a link to Czarcasm when I got back. And then after I got back I found out that I got his name this year! So I just printed it out and stuck it in the box with the other goodies.
