Re the film after 2000 in B&W, here are the answers given with release dates and other notes: The Man who wasn’t there - 2001 Good Night and Good Luck - 2005 Primer - 2004 (but not in B&W) Sin City - 2005 (top answer?) Pleasantville - 1998 American History X - 1998 and not in B&W Clerks - 1994 The Good German - 2006 Schindler’s List - 1993 Coffee and Cigarettes - original short 1986, but redone in full length in 2003 Persepolis - 2007 Greenfield? - Maybe an answer for the Simpsons question? Memento - 2000 not in B&W Pi - 1998 Grindhouse - 2007 (was this B&W)? The Call of Cthulu - 2005 Paradise - no film by this name after 2000, none that I can tell are B&W. There is a Paradiset from 2003 that is Swedish that may fit the bill on translation. ---
