Wow, #12! Maybe I don’t totally suck!
North American Country - quickly skimming the thread, I don’t think anyone’s mentioned France.
Well, I always wanted to strike for something…
Edit: Oops, it’s already over. I was so intent on not seeing anyone’s answers, I didn’t think to check.
w00t! not last!
thanks, GO.
Shouldn’t this count as a two-point answer?
Same guy. His full name was James Ewell Brown Stuart, so his first three initials were easily transformed into the word “Jeb”.
Also, I get 366 points when I add up my score, and thus believe I’m actually (barring additional adjustments) tied with NAF1138 for fourteenth. However, I do agree with you that Central America is indeed a part of the North American continent, even if some residents of the Western Hemisphere’s Spanish-speaking lands (and some folks from Anglophone nations as well) use the term norteamericanos to refer exclusively to Canadians and USA denizens, or to Mexicans in addition to those governed from Ottawa and Washington.
Hot-cha! Tied for fifth! Who’s your Daddy?
I’d like to thank the Academy…

I actually did count the two Stuarts as one (or tried to). And there was only one Homer City, that is just a typo in the above post…
Also, don’t count your vote in your points. You get two points for every answer besides your own.
That goes to show what having a cool nickname does for you.
Nice game, thanks!
(And the other beef with the Simpsons question is that there’s absolutely no way anyone who doesn’t watch the show – and there are a few of us – would have any chance at all at making up an answer. Just sayin’.)
Second place. Yay me.
My best finish ever.
I really liked these categories.
