However, a quick google search reveals a [Spring Cooter Fest](http://www.cooterfest.com/) that is (ostensibly, at least) a turtle race. I’m going to have a hard time with mental pictures now. ---

Really, **Batsinma Belfry** , if you would move out of Funkytown these things might not happen to you. Those of us in the lower left U.S. get some smog and occasional cow smell but by and large completely avoid large masses of cooter air. ---

I finally got the thread after more people posted. I’ve only heard cooter used as a name on Dukes of Hazard. I was thinking “That lady has bats in her belfry.” 😃 ---

Southerner, so cooter as turtle made me first think “Cold, time to crawl back in the shell.” But, I was in the past news Ha-Ha-ing over Ms Spears recent nekkid cooter club crawls, so the second -thought Cooter Air mind wave was less than, um, savory. Tis an ill wind… ---
