I voted for Kerry, but I have been nearly certain that Bush was going to win for a long time. I can say that I am surprised that very few people were able to separate their predictions from their hopes. Time and again the people who supported Kerry were certain Kerry would win. Bush supporters were certain their man would win. From this I can conclude that Dopers would make lousy gamblers. ---
