Not at school yet, but I’m at my Aunt and Uncle’s house until the semester starts. I miss my girl. ☹ It’s the start of another grind of time where we can’t see each other. Sigh. We made it through the worst one, though, and we’ll make it for this one. I went ice skating the other day. I haven’t been for years. My feet are still killing me. The new semester starts on the 4th. I’m taking a bio course called Dinosaurs, a socilinguistics class, and some religion course. Should be interesting. It’s funny- I’ve started to think of my dorm room as home, in a lot of ways. Other than feeling at home with quietgirl, I felt like I was a visitor- like the room I’ve slept in most of my life wasn’t really my room. Does anyone else ever feel like that? So, as I haven’t had access to the computer for some days now… did I miss anything interesting? ---

I was there seven months out of the year for four years. (The best part was when I was told at the Canadian border this summer that I’m now a Canadian resident (because I was there for 8 months straight). Very strange!) My girlfriend and I did the long distance thing for one year away, but I called it off this year. (Long story, not a happy one.) I still wish it didn’t have to be this way … sigh.
