Anti-vaxxers infuriate me, and sunshine is only mildly anti-viral. But where did you get the idea going outside is dangerous?? Going for a walk is fine. In fact, it’s good for you. Just make sure you give everyone else a very wide berth. If you’re too nervous to do that, you can still walk around your backyard.

As I recall, when you joined you were shocked and appalled when I assumed you were a neo-nazi because of the 88 in your username. (The eighth letter of the alphabet is H, 88=HH=Heil Hitler. It was common with the wrong crowd at the time.) Instead you’re a pleasant sort who can be pleasantly naive. That’s pleasantly nice.

If this is the article you’re talking about, it says, “Apparently America has a pretty vast underground tunnel system, but not just for some sewer and utility purposes” while the map shows supposed tunnels running hundreds or thousands of miles all over the country. And this map is supposedly dated 1978. Do the people who believe this bullshit have no sense of skepticism? New York City started to build Water Tunnel No. 3 in 1970 and it’s still years from completion. And yet there are supposedly all of these tunnels and bunkers all over the place?

Now imagine a viral pandemic with a 20% death rate, and the current, relatively mild outbreaks of looniness multiplied by a factor of 10-20. Or more (the curve might be exponential for all I know).
