Oy, this sucks. I saw you mention your job loss in another thread and I did a double take. I remember you taking this job, and when you posted about it, it always sounded really interesting, and like you were having fun. Best of luck finding a new position - but I don’t know if you even need luck, because from here it looks like you’re really excellent at what you’re doing. Reading your posts I remember thinking at times (when my job was really boring) “Man, I’d like to have **twickster’s** job…but I probably couldn’t do half the job she does!” If I ever start publishing a magazine, you’d be the first person I’d call (well I would if I had your number :D) Also, condolences on the passing of your aunt, I’m sure she was happy having you in her life, and would be happy to know that you are thinking of her and keeping her in your memories. ---

Ah, damn, **twickster**! I remember your thread when you started this job, and how pleased you were. I was once restructured out of a job I loved (which was outsourced to Ireland, believe it or not) and I just got back from my mother’s funeral (which is why I’m late to this sympathy party), so I can empathize with both of your pieces of bad news; but I didn’t have to deal with both at once! Best of luck in your job hunt, and deepest sympathy on both your losses. ---
