Up, caffienating. Big plans for the day include filling out the paperirk so I can get my taxes done tomorrow, repotting the African violet the right way this time, and taking a walk in the rain (much like the end of a Hemingway novel!) I will have to buy more yarn soon. This. This is why I resisted getting into crochet for so long. I could start on my cross-stitch project, but did I print out the pattern? No. Of course not! :smack: Do I have the urge to make myself some new bathroom towels and take the ones I have and make them into crochet-top towels! Of course! Goldarnit, Mom, why was I the one that inherited your crafty genes? Oh, right, Christmas presents. ---

We had breakfast at Cracker Barrel, then ran to Lowe’s for enough stuff to finish the fence. Second load of laundry is in the washer, first is in the dryer. Higgs has been bathed, so she smells less “doggy” - yay! I did a little in my studio, but most of the stuff is too wet to work on. I left the wet cabinet partly open so maybe the pieces will dry enough to be trimmed. I’m not working tomorrow. There’s nothing for me to do and I can’t just sit around collecting pay for nothing. So I’ll play in clay and maybe scrub the bathrooms or something equally exciting. \*\*FCD \*\*is watching Sons of Anarchy - ick. Way to violent for my tastes. So I guess I’ll play some 'puter games. ---

Mawnin all Up caffinating, todays gig has canceled so I am in lazy mode. I just couldn’t get past my emotional barriers to write out the “how I got married” thread so I did a lottery fantasy thread instead. Morning! I have read but not retained much other than hang in there **babyapes**! To early to come out yet. It is frickin freezing for a start! Eventful week - we found a house we love in Houston then found out we might not get the mortgage even though we are preapproved. Boo. So we shall see what happens when the under writers toss their decision making coin next week. Stoopid short sale. Not my fault the economy crashed in Cali and we had a forced relocation with work so that we actually remained employed. :mad: Anyway…I scrubbed the house yesterday and did 271 loads of laundry. We are giving notice to the rental agency on Friday so we are trying to remain clean and tidy for when they show it to prospective tenants. It is proving difficult already 😃 I do still need to scrub the shower down but I will do that later today. We went for brekkie and to grab a few groceries and holy crap was it cold and windy…currently 28 degrees but ‘feels like 15’ :eek: this is way to cold for nearly Easter. ---
