Well stocked home bar

I just got gifted a Chefhut cocktail smoker. Aside from Smoked Old Fashioned, any other recommendations to try?

I’d serve a smokey amuse-bouche as an appetizer. Maybe a small piece of pork belly no a bed of meringue.

Do you have more than one dome?

I’ve not actually made any of these but I bookmarked this video last year:

Be careful with those. I had a few too many of them one night, and hours later I woke up at the border with a bunch of visas in my name.

Got myself a bottle of Mellow Corn a couple of weeks ago. Daniel reviewed it over on whiskeyvault. I thought someone had recommended it over here, and sure enough…

Not bad at all. Simple, but nothing wrong with it at all. The only problem I have with it is that I can get Wild Turkey 101 for the same price at the grocery store, and I like it a lot better.

No, just one dome. I haven’t really contemplated smoking food, but I will put that on the list of things to investigate when hosting.

I discovered this stuff at a local (SW MI) liquor store. Very reminiscent of tequila but still its own thing. If you like tequila give it a try. Very cool bottle.

Made some smoked pineapple margaritas last night. That goes into the regular rotation.

I kind of feel like it’s a specific time and place sort of thing. There are times that I’m not wanting bourbon, and that simpler sort of thing is just right.

Bumping because it’s spring planting time and I want to grow some herbs in the garden for cocktails. I’ll have spearmint, basil, and rosemary. Any other suggestions?

Hmm. Mint is the only one that I think I really use in cocktails. Google suggest a cucumber cilantro cooler, which does sound pretty nice to me: Cilantro Cucumber Cooler - Another Cocktail Blog

Get a Trained Bear.
From Kentucky.
Bandage him, as they tend to be Sore.
Then (apply Southern Accent) he will be (wait for joke) a real (joke immanent) Bar-Tender.
Thank you, thank you, I’ll be here all week, try the Veal.
