Well..The Mass Supreme Court says your emails ain't private.

Would you just tell us or show us what the freaking omission is already?

Sorry, I hadn’t meant to raise such curiousity. And it IS a nitpicking thing. I do think it shows an important attitude problem, but by itself it IS a nitpicking thing.

When you go to Senator Schumer’s web page, and try to leave feedback for his office you are directed to this page, Schumer’s Email Page . When you are there, you will see a lot of required fields, which is certainly the Senator’s choice. The very first required field is ‘Prefix’. Not content with Mr/Mrs/Ms, clicking on the link will show you a seemingly exhaustive list of titles and ranks. But you will find missing any enlisted Navy ranks. I firmly believe that if Mr. Schumer cares enough to find out if you’re SSgt X he should also care to find out whether you’re PO2 X. He has Naval officer ranks listed, he has all Army and Air Force ranks listed. I only want him to offer parity to Navy enlisteds. As former blue-shirt scum, I don’t think that their Senator should be short changing them.

Of course, as I said earlier, there are no Navy bases in NY State. There are Air Force and Army bases here. That may have something to do with his concerns.

Your complaint is valid but is incredibly nitpicky. And if you want to be truly obsessive about it, the list is incomplete in many other ways. For example, it has an option to address a letter from “SSgt” or “SSgt and Mrs” or “Lieutenant” but not “Lieutenant & Mrs.” Not to mention the sexism inherent in having Ssgt & Mrs, but not “SSgt and Mr.”

I do believe I mentioned that a few times.
