A terminology for that sort of gun which fires every time you pull the trigger is a “automatic”. the Colt 1911 is a 'automatic pistol". Now, yes- since there are “full-automatic” weapons, the better term is “semi-automatic” but calling the Kel-Tec 2000 a 'automatic" is correct. Not to mention the Kel-Tec is well known for it’s propensity to accidentally go full-auto due to a defect.
The pistol’s formal designation as of 1940 was Automatic Pistol, Caliber .45, M1911 for the original model of 1911 or Automatic Pistol, Caliber .45, M1911A1 for the M1911A1, adopted in 1924. The designation changed to Pistol, Caliber .45, Automatic, M1911A1 in the Vietnam era.[1]

Well said. I believe that it would create a dangerous precedent if we were to allow the irrational beliefs of others dictate our actions. I suspect that blasphemy laws would soon follow.
Note that this is not the same as (falsely) shouting fire in a crowded theater because that’s designed to cause panic amongst even rational people.

The only thing I’d counter with,
There’s a big difference (to me anyway) in a group that advocates free speech holding a “bad taste cartoon” competition - where one of the categories is Islam / Muhammad, and the idea of a recognised anti-islamist hate group holding a “insult Islam contest”.
In practice, the difference might not be very much, and Islamic extremists will probably be upset either way - I simply feel that the difference comes in “inciting violence” instead of insulting being the by-product…
But maybe I’m drawing a distinction without a difference
On the one hand, one has to assume that insulting Muhammad will incite violence, but on the other, depicting Muhammad as violent is “demonizing”? The different lines of thought in this thread seem difficult to reconcile.
After careful consideration, I still believe that lame stream media is a fitting description of any main stream media outlets who steadfastly refuse to publish facts that are well known, or obvious. It also applies to main stream media outlets who’s primary concern is being the first to publish, instead of publishing properly vetted stories.

Technically, I’m pretty sure that the Koran says that “you shall not create images of people and animals”, it doesn’t say that, “images of people and animals may not exist in the world”.
