Though in today’s GOP the problem would be that’s he’s a cooperating witness for the feds, not that he’s a Mafia hitman ---

I’m not aware of any evidence that Trump ever served as a witness during trial, but he did used to work for the FBI as an informant. ---

If he’s a genuinely reformed ex-felon, sounds good to me. If anything, this should be the message we should be sending about recidivism. ---
