I am mad as heck they asked me at the drive thru order box if I wanted sauce. I said barbecue at the window I didn’t ask for sauce because I assumed they would put it in since they asked me then I get home and no sauce. and the nuggets aren’t even good. they’d be better fresh. and I don’t even have the barbecue sauce to help me push on I am very dissappointed and will not be going back to Wendy’s anytime soon why even ask if I want sauce when I order if you’re not gonna give it to me. Where do they find these incompetent screw-ups to work fast food ---

It’s better to have the incompetent screwups serving you your fast food than say, flying your commercial airliner. First World Problem, indeed. ---

Bahhhh… I went to Wendy’s once and ordered a bacon double cheese burger with lettuce, tomato, mustard, onions only (meaning no mayo, catsup, pickles or other shit). Apparently they took that to mean that also meant no bacon or cheese. Guess I was lucky to get buns and meat. A few years later I went to Whataburger and did the same thing. I even joked to the cashier inside the store about my Wendy’s experience when placing my order. She couldn’t believe it. Guess what Whataburger ended up giving me? ---

Is the general consensus that Wendy’s has gone way downhill over the past 20 or so years? It used to have the reputation of being fast food which wasn’t formulaic small-portioned overfried crap, with healthy amounts of secondary condiments. Last time I ate there (last year) it was just as tiny, bland, and tasteless and Mickey D’s or BK, if not more so. ---

Also the Jr. Bacon Cheeseburger costs like $1.75 now (didn’t it just recently cost a dollar?) and was pretty bland. I used to like Wendy’s but they keep letting me down ---

No, it’s better to have the first world screwups that could be flying your airliners at the drivethru window instead. The first world problems comment is meant to make you consider the plight of those in undeveloped countries who have more to worry about than how old their chicken is and what sauces it didn’t come with. ---

When you go through a drive-in to order food, after picking it up **always** pull off somewhere before driving away and check that your order has the correct items. If it’s wrong, get out of your car, walk back to the window, and tell them what the problem is. The percentage of orders that are mixed up in drive-in orders is very high. The fast food places just don’t care. They’ll fix the mistake if you ask, but it’s of no concern to them that people discover later that they gave you the wrong items. The small amount of future business that they lose because of dissatisfaction with the bad service isn’t enough to persuade them to improve their service. ---

I stopped going to Wendy’s over a year ago because their quality got so bad. They were constantly forgetting things in the drive-thru orders, and once I opened up my chicken sandwich only to find _half_ a chicken breast on there. And it wasn’t just a small-breasted chicken - there was a fresh cut across the meat where someone had chopped half of it off so the edges wouldn’t stick out of the bun, leaving me with several bun-only bites. The next time I went back, I complained to the manager, and he shrugged and said maybe it was just a small chicken breast, but he’d make sure to tell his staff to leave the chicken breasts whole. No apology. ---

A long, long time ago, when I was a youngster, my grandmother went to the Wendy’s drive-thru. When we got home, Grandma opened up her cup of chili and found the surface of it covered in greenish staples. At least whoever sabotaged the food was kind enough not to stir them in… Before you ask, no, Grandma wasn’t rude to anyone when she placed her order. In fact, she wouldn’t even call and complain. Obviously, this was the act of a single employee, but it’s always the first thing that pops into my mind when I think of Wendy’s.
