Yup it was spinach. [Just like these.](http://images1.wikia.nocookie.net/__cb20080516004335/recipes/images/c/cd/Spinach.jpg) I didn’t recognize them at first but google image confirmed it. Spinach on a chicken sandwich is a good idea. [Bay leaf](http://www.herbalextractsplus.com/images/herbs/bay-leaf-bsp.jpg)has a similar shape, but more pointy at the end. I thought of it first because I always use them in spaghetti sauce and on roasts. ---

I actually like it. The pretzel bun has been a thing lately. The Sonic pretzel hotdog is terrible, though. In my part of Ohio pretzel buns are sold at grocery stores. For example, the Meijer bakery section has hamburger and hotdog buns. I also noticed their regular packaged bread section now has a shelf spot for pretzel buns- I didn’t see any. Maybe they were sold out. ---

Meanwhile, with me being a big fan of what used to be the humble “Bacon Mushroom Melt” from way back when it was first introduced, I think, in the early ‘90s, I’m rather disappointed with the _clears throat, adjusts monocle, and lifts nose_ “Bacon Portabella Melt on Brioche” _sniff_. The “brioche” has nothing on plain ol’ Wendy’s buns, IMO. ---
