I just had an idea for a novely item to serve at an outdoor picnic/bar-b-Q, halloween dinner, or just for fun. Wendy’s Special or 5 Fingered Chili For each serving: 2 hot dogs cooked and cut in half 1-1/2" length of Polish Sausage, cooked. lasagna noodle cooked and cut into 5/8" wide strip(s) wrap strip of noodle around each piece of hot dog or sausage to look like an adhesive bandage and pin in place with toothpick. Fill individual bowls with chilli and add the bandaged fingers and thumb. Press down till halfway covered with chilli and serve. Sue, sue, sue! ---

Guess you need to make sure you’re working to your audience, and not surprising anybody queasy or without humor. Incidentally, I got Wendy’s chili Saturday night, and didn’t even think about this stupid finger fraud until there was a news story about their lost business and horrible damage control on Sunday morning. ---

They could always serve “lady fingers” for dessert. Try to have some sense of humor about it. It couldn’t make things any worse.
