Just curious, what is the blue dot next to certain threads? It disappears after I click on the thread, but it’s not on all unread threads. ---

I’m kinda thinking the little blue dot means a new thread that you have NOT even opened yet. Not entirely sure of that. ETA: But I’m not sure how it applies to old threads that got imported from the old board. And now: Has anyone figured out yet what the now-you-see-it-now-you-don’t check mark is, that intermittently appears at the bottom on the screen while composing a post? ---

I can see why user names don’t allow blank spaces or most other punctuation marks. If names have characters like that, then referring to them with @ doesn’t work. For example, @Eyebrows_0f_Doom works, but @Eyebrows 0f Doom wouldn’t work (or, worse, might refer to a different user). Most other punctuation marks would break that too. ---

Under Interface options, there’s a checkbox option for “ **Enable defer to mark topics unread** ” What does that mean? ---

After you’ve read the thread, you press… Shift+U?.. to “defer” them. I remember that it sometimes works even if you’ve disabled it. ---

Not certain, but based on other software, my guess would be that it is an indicator that it has saved your current post progress to your drafts. ---
