The Nightfly was one of my desert island albums, back when I thought about such things, and there were albums. This video introduced it to me, either on NightFlight or some other mid-80’s late-night video show. It’s still a favorite. . .both the song and the video. Pity so much 80’s stuff was cataloged on VHS, but blurry is better than nothing at all Here’s the video: [![](https://i.ytimg.com/vi/qBruAooXPNU/hqdefault.jpg "Donald Fagen - New Frontier (Video)") ](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qBruAooXPNU) And the full-length album version: [![](https://img.youtube.com/vi/yi4hbVAfRCw/maxresdefault.jpg "New Frontier") ](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yi4hbVAfRCw) ---

> [@Biggirl](#): > > Well now I _really_ can’t after I bragged. Someone who has a video to give should do it. Or maybe even a scofflaw. If my husband posted here I’d have him post a bunch of videos. That’s what NYC DOJ called him when they towed his vehicle (a long time ago. I still call him a ‘scofflaw’ to this day). -laughing- Same Dopefest where I met you, I met him. Scofflaw ??!!??!! ---
