I never heard of them, but I just watched the video and in answer to your question I can safely say no. I’m sure that lots of kids like it, and that the young guys like the cute girls, but it’s forgettable generic idol J-pop with metal pretensions. ---

That is hilarious - laying down a blanket of rapid-fire, double-kick metal so you can put cute girly-pop on top of it. They ain’t Shonen Knife, that’s for sure 😉 ---

I should add that I’m slightly embarrassed that I’m at all familiar with terms like idol and J-pop. It’s just internet osmosis, I suppose. For some reason I want to like it. I can’t say why, but I want to. But I just don’t. It’s sounds like something done by someone who thinks they understand metal but don’t. Like a slick corporate engineered version of metal by someone following an algorithm or something. Then they took the results and threw in some cutesy j-pop and, for the cherry on top, used auto-tune for the vocals. I almost always _hate_ autotune. It’s too fake and overproduced. There’s no heart to it. Are those girls even the ones singing? ---
