Sure you little dirty terrorist sympathiser! No really, when an artist has released a work it is no longer his. What anybody makes of it after that should have noting to do with the kind of person the artist is or what views he subscribe to. By all accounts a lot of brilliant artist has been stupid and despicable persons, doesn’t make their works any worse.

I just heard at a lecture on children and reading skills that it had become quite common in the US to alter the ending on H.C. Anderson and The Grimm Brothers fairy tales when they were deemed too harsh for modern sentiments. Like Anderson’s The Little Match Girl so she doesn’t freeze to death on Christmas Eve but is invited into a warm house and given nice presents. And I suppose Snow-white’s evil step-mother isn’t forced to dance around in white-hot iron shoes till she dies either. Altering H.C. Anderson ! That goes under blasphemy rules in Denmark! Might as well change the bible so Jesus isn’t crucified, but merely given a good scolding and a time-out.
