# Were the Jews a Fighting People?

Simple: people aren’t as religious anymore in Western countries. Especially Jews. With every generation, they get less and less religious. Jews aren’t confined to Jewish areas like they were 100 or even 50 years ago. Now they’re spread out all over America. And it’s harder and harder for Jewish parents to say “you have to marry a Jewish girl and keep this religion going.”
