# Were you screwed up when you were 22?

huh. I’m 21 now, but judging from my life at the moment (and seeing how 22 is 3 months away), can pretty assuredly say “YES.” Very screwed up. Not in a bad “man this makes my life terrible” way, but in a “things could be better, but they are not, and that sucks ass” way, with a lot of “learn to love and enjoy life, you dummy” thrown in for good measure.

don’t have a house or a job. living off of my meager savings. Not doing anything of permanence, not trying to get my tomorrows where I want them. Still have a bunch of headshit to work through.

But all in all, I am happy. I could be happier (girlfriend, job I love, own bed to sleep in), though having food, friends, and relative shelter keeps my spirits up.

I was fine at 22, never better. Had been married a year, graduated, fulltime job at the computer company I’d dreamed of.  
I’d go back any time for that.🙂
