Once again, tonight’s death scenes are brought to you by special request. \*Morning comes again to Doperville. And the town is in a state of confusion. Are they close to being wiped out? Are they on the trail of the mafia menace? And what of the Serial Killer? How trustworthy is a rookie cop anyway? All these questions were subject for debate, but no solid answers have been found. So at the end of the day, the town did what they do every night… drank until they couldn’t stand up. Glee wanted a quiet word with pimma the beat cop, likely questioning some aspect of police investigations though the exact nature of their conversation was unknown. What is known is that they both left the bar together at the end of the night, but split up as they hit the edge of town, heading off in opposite directions with great haste. Pimma was found shortly after dawn, shot through the back of the head. Glee was found charred to a crisp, having been struck with a blunt object, gagged with a kerosene soaked rag wrapped, mummy like, in duct tape (lots of duct tape) then set on fire.\* \*\*Pimmaspinner \*\* - beat cop and **glee** - Citizen are both dead. The “day” ends in exactly 5 days (120 hours or 8:30 am pacific on Tuesday for those of you who like time) Good luck and try to stay alive! ---

So then there were 18. Sigh. So we still have our 2 masons, maybe 1 cop, there could be a GA still out there, the dastardly SK and most likely 5 mafia. So potentially half the people left have roles of some sort or as many 10. If we get another plain jane townie today boy do we suck. **RIP pimaspinner** **RIP glee** Well before I say anything, I would like to hear what Sturmhauke has to say, as he seemed upset that he didn’t get his piece in yesterday. At the worst (5 more mafia +1 SK) the town still has 12. Obviously, I would like the town to be in better shape, but it’s not devastating YET. I’m on my prep period, so I’m doing this fast and can’t supply post links, but this all happened near the bottom of page 58. The \*\*MtS \*\* bandwagon started with **Pleonast**. This was followed by: \*\*pima \*\* (beat cop - so no scummy surprise here) \*\*Rysto \*\* (in response to \*\*Pleonast’s \*\* FOS?) \*\*Malacandra \*\* \*\*Cowgirl \*\* (both within two minutes of **Rysto** ) **storyteller** \*\*StarvingButStrong \*\* (even though he says he’s not suspicious of **MtS** ) \*\*glee \*\* And unvoted by \*\*Malacandra \*\* in the 11th hour. And then by \*\*StarvingButStrong \*\* twenty minutes AFTER \*\*MtS \*\* swung. While this was going on, a minor movement toward \*\*MonkeyMensch \*\* began, and \*\*MtS \*\* desperately tried to point the finger at **Fretful**. Meanwhile (and in the interest of full disclosure and fairness), I was over there in the sandbox playing with myself and calling \*\*Queuing \*\* a poopypants, dammit. So, what does this all mean? It means that if I thought something magical would be revealed here, I was so wrong. Anyway, chew on that for a bit, and let’s see what \*\*Augecheek \*\* has to say. ---

Seven people ended up getting MadTheSwine lynched. Pleonast - Mason pimma - Beat cop Rysto cowgirl storyteller StarvingButStrong glee - Town Malacandra unvoted a little before the deadline came. StarvingButStrong unvoted 20 minutes after the deadline. It could be a mistake, or it could be a mafioso attempt to gain our trust. I’ll read through StarvingButStrong’s, storyteller’s, and cowgirl’s post when I get home. Though I say that unless the town went outrageously nutty, we should choose someone from this list. Rysto is a suspect in my mind, but he is not around to defend himself, so I’d wait for next before we turn the heat on him. ---

It seems obvious that the mafia took out our cop. But, why would the SK target glee? I would think that the SK would be on our side since they would have to take out 7 town to win and only 5 mafia. Do you think the SK guessed wrong, or do you think the SK is trying to get a mafia win? ---

RE: Cowgirl. I caution you to remember that a number of her posts may be from when she was cowgirl the now dead citizen, not cowgirl the replacement smitty. I will be looking at Fretful’s posts, and posting my analysis as I usually do (in other words long). Mostly because I told MTS that his accusations would not be ignored. My first thought on glee? She was taken out by the SK to cast some more suspicion my way. I had put glee on top of my list of people to be investigated due to her being mentioned many times by known scum. I have been accused of being the SK by aguecheek, and perhaps the SK thought this kill may have thrown a bit more credence behind aguecheek’s accusation. Just what came of the top of my head. ---

Well, there are possibly 12 town members and 5 mafia members and a SK. There are three roles that are exposed right now. That means we know who the mafia will kill for the next three days. The SK might think that he is safe from the mafia kill and now just has to avoid the town lynch. In three days we have nine potential kills. If the mafia does not target the SK, the SK can go after the townspeople and get a victory in 3 days, assuming we all lynch citizens. Since the mafia has targets for the next three days besides the SK, it might be in the SK’s best interest to kill townies to end the game quicker. That is assuming townies are easier to kill than mafia for the SK. The mafia better wise up and hunt the SK down now or otherwise we all lose. ---

[/QUOTE] Well the SK can rely on mafia also obliging with town kills (and us, on current form :smack: ) so the scum win is probably easier to engineer. On the other hand, the scum know they can’t win until the SK is disposed of, and ironically they’re more likely to manage it since they have a smaller pool to pick from. But if I were the SK I’d be shooting for a scum win, certainly at this stage, and possibly earlier. I want to see what **Aguecheek** says too. And just to be consistent, I’ll re-evaluate the math given the depleted numbers - after I’ve seen what our “cop” has to say. ---

I did a bit of research to try and prove **MonkeyMensch’s** guilt, but I may have found a bit of exonerating info. On our one successful lynch, the votes were pretty even between **Fern Forest** and \*\* Sub Plankton\*\*. With about 3 hrs left, **MonkyMensch, ArizonaTeacher,Mennochio** and **Kat** came in and swayed the vote to end up lynching\*\* Sub Plankton\*\*. Now, I believe that mafia might come in at the end and vote for fellow scum if they are already doomed, in an effort to look less scummy. But, these four actually changed the victim from town to mafia. That casts them in a pretty good light IMHO. I did some more research and found that two people did not vote for **Suburban Plankton** , did vote for **MTS** and are still alive. Those are **StarvingbutStrong** and **Storyteller**. I will probably end up voting to lynch one of these two, but they might both be scum and it might not matter. **StarvingbutStrong** ’s late vote change either indicates a concerned but confused citizen, or crafty mafia. Is it possible that she really didn’t look at the thread before posting the vote? Or did she take 20+ mins to compose that post and not preview? I’m waiting on our cop report before finalizing any vote though. ---

Okay, I’m here for a few minutes, I’ll have more at lunch (lucky me, I’m on Pacific time as well, so **NAF** ’s times make sense for me…). So I was a bit confused about who I was supposed to investigate before close of town business yesterday. **MTS** suggested re-investigating **Queuing** and asked that I post my results before **pima**. A couple of people agreed with that final request, but never confirmed the investigatee. I took that to mean they were agreeing on investigating **Queuing** again…so that’s what I did. I got Vanilla Town. ---

Granted, there weren’t many votes cast for anyone, but still. At this time, cowgirl and Menocchio had both voted for and then unvoted MadTheSwine, leaving MTS with no votes. 10 hours and 1 minute later, MTS was lynched, with 7 votes. The new votes against MTS came like this: 7:25 am - Pleonast (Mason) unvotes hocow, votes MTS 7:56 am - pimaspinner (Beat Cop, deceased) unvotes Malacandra, votes MTS 8:02 am - Rysto votes MTS (only vote) 8:05 am - Malacandra unvotes Queuing, votes MTS 8:05 am - cowgirl unvotes Malacandra, revotes MTS 8:11 am - storyteller0910 unvotes Pygmy Rugger, votes MTS 8:20 am - StarvingButStrong unvotes Aguecheek, votes MTS 8:30 am - glee (Citizen, deceased) votes MTS (only vote) 10:28 am - Malacandra unvotes MTS, votes MonkeyMensch 10:32 am - MTS lynched 10:50 am - StarvingButStrong casts an invalid vote for MonkeyMensch Discounting known townies, that leaves the following list of speedlynchers: Rysto, Malacandra, cowgirl, storyteller0910, StarvingButStrong, Malacandra.
