Disagree–his stated intention of breaking a tie either way is pretty much a null tell.

I was told this for sure–in my PM, it assures me that wolves have farmer/rancher status so that I cannot find wolves by looking for people who lack said status.

To review, stolen from Telcontar and colorized:
Seeker, ordinary rancher: **BLACK** then **PURPLE**
Freudian Slit, ordinary rancher: **AQUA** then **TEAL**
November, ordinary farmer: **GREEN** then **RED**

[QUOTE=Telcontar]

Oh, as i argued many days ago it makes sense to have a role claim immediately prior to testing: Ordinary Rancher.

It seems to me that our previous Ordinary Ranchers had two non-contrasting colors close to each other in appearance, while our one Farmer has colors that are the color wheel opposites of each other.

I already had my vote on **Telcontar** and see no reason in the results to change that, but it will be highly interesting to me if color wheel theory is the key to the testerizer.

As was pointed out above and then corrected by me, Seeker was actually a farmer
Seeker, ordinary farmer: **BLACK** then **PURPLE**
Freudian Slit, ordinary rancher: **AQUA** then **TEAL**
November, ordinary farmer: **GREEN** then **RED**

Mine, ordinary rancher: \*\*Brown[/B] then Green

By your previous logic shouldn’t you be all over Mhaye for correctly guessing my status?

I’m a dude. Otherwise I’d be **Elendil’s Heiress**.

I’ll let someone else weigh in with lame/strained/illogical/unpersuasive reasons to suspect me. 😉

I didn’t see the correction, actually, thanks for pointing it out.

I have every intention of continuing to be all over MHaye–in fact, I realized I didn’t switch my vote to you yet, and I was coming back to the thread to make note of that.

Oh, can you point out to me where MHaye correctly guessed your status? I didn’t see it even on a re-read.

The testerizer fills me with grr. I WILL figure the pattern out.

The rest was as follows; a Me Too, stating there are many more town then wolves, welcoming Ichini, stating that only want to state his certainties and claimed farmer, stating that he only claimed farmer because Tel did, backed out of farmer claim and stated that he has hunches.

Since then, page 17, EH has continued to vote without expressing reasons. Admittedly his most recent is against me so I’m probably slightly biased. This is what I’ve got I’m sure others have more.

Hmm, looks like I might have been mistaken. Freudian said that I had claimed rancher early on (I hadn’t and it’s one reason i was suspicious of them) but I thought Mhaye had too. Perhaps not.

Just to shake up our brains a little bit - anyone other than \*\*Zeriel \*\*have any additional thoughts on the Testerizer?

\*\*Zeriel \*\*- don’t think your color wheel theory works, both because as has been corrected \*\*November \*\*was a farmer and because **black** is not really on a color wheel at all.

However, there is one interesting aspect to the wheel (assuming that \*\*Telcontar \*\*is a rancher as he claimed) - that is there is one swath of colors that haven’t been represented, even though we’re now recycling colors (since \*\*Tel \*\*came up w/ a **green** ). Those are yellows/oranges.

I’ve been racking my brain trying to see any pattern at all. I’ve looked at the number of letters in the word, the types of letters, the starting letters. I’ve even looked at the hex codes of the colors. Nothing leaps out and says “aha!”.

(I will say actually that the hex code review did pull up one data outlier, but I’m not going to go into it because I’m pretty sure that our fearless moderator wouldn’t be using that as the Testerizer algorithm, too arcane).

Does anyone have any other things we should look at to determine any kind of pattern. Assuming there is one - I’m still of the basic belief that the original assumption that ranchers/farmers basically come up w/ random colors.

Not to distract us from our main purpose, but any edge we can get…

I also want to say that if toMorrow we are in a bind for testing, \*\*Zeriel \*\*should be high on the list. The reason being that \*\*Zeriel \*\*is the only person being tested who would have a known (if self-proclaimed) power role, and we could see if that has any effect on the Testerizer. This, however, should not preclude our testing the primary lynch suspect.

</div>

Where is everybody? We can’t let the conversation drop off after the test like it has done.

My only additional thought on the testeriser is that green is our first repeat colour. I’m inclined to think that it does mean something, although what I can’t begin to say. I am now leaning toward seeing Telcontar as townie anyway, though, so I don’t think I’ll be voting for him today.

I see that Elendil continues to get attention. He’s still on my list of suspects, and I wish he would post other than about how ridiculous it is to be suspicious of him. I’m not as sure as I was before; his frustration has lately sounded pretty genuine.

But I really do think we have to examine other candidates too. I understand the argument for not making lists of suspicions, but that is no reason not to present a case on anyone we find suspicious (as I did for Justin earlier, post 1074).

Would it make sense, maybe to get _everyone_ talking, if we did something like this:

Each person left is assigned two players (one high volume, one low volume) to review and post their thoughts about by midnite tomorrow. Preferably someone they haven’t already done so.

I’m randomly choosing names here, by taking the highest poster to review the next highest and the lowest, then running down (or up) the list. Not a perfect system, best I could think of on no notice.

So, list would go

Reviewer: Reviewee 1, Reviewee 2

**Daphne** : Mahaloth, MHaye
**Maholoth** : rexnervous, Zeriel
**rexnervous** : Telcontar (ugh 🙂 ), fluiddruid
**Telcontar** : Oredigger, Elendil’s Heir
**Oredigger** : Allwalker, Justin Credible
**Allwalker** : Jimmy Chitwood, DaphneBlack (sorry Allwalker, have to start back at the top)
**Jimmy Chitwood** : DaphneBlack, MHaye
**Justin Credible** : Mahaloth, Zeriel
**Elendil’s Heir** : rexnervous, fluiddruid
**fluiddruid** : Telcontar, Elendil’s Heir
**Zeriel** : Oredigger, Justin Credible
**MHaye** : Allwalker, Jimmy Chitwood

Just an idea, and we have short notice to do so, but I think it requires some people to post more, and also we’ll get a fresh look at others.

If we’re wrong about our lynch today then we’re out of free mistakes. I’d love to figure out the testerizer, but I think we have to keep shoving the most suspicious people in there and hope that the results for one make us go “ding ding ding!” We simply don’t have the wiggle room to experiment.

Of course, if someone could make a case for zeriel’s power role claim not being strong evidence of villager status I’d happily lynch her for other reasons, but as I’ve outlined before I think we have to treat her as innocent baring new information.

I’m game. I think it’s pretty likely that not everyone will agree to do it, so we may not have a full slate of reviews.

It’s also worth keeping in mind that the scum will have opportunities to game this; the double reviewing system should mitigate that somewhat, but only if a critical mass of posters agree to it.

Looking back over **Mahaloth** ’s posts, the main thing I notice is that he’s never really rattled any cages or stirred any pots. Actually, I could echo what Daphne said about me a few posts back: he talks about the Testerizer a lot, makes a lot of fluff posts, and never really sticks his neck out too much. In fact, since Daphne mentioned both him and me in yet another previous post, I have to wonder why she picked me to go after toDay and not him. He’s got a lot more posts than me, but he’s never really said much. Really, I never noticed him much at all until now. Hmmm.

On to Zeriel…

</div>

Okay, having reviewed **Zeriel** ’s posts, I’ve actually grown a bit suspicious of him. I was trying to think in terms of him using his power role reveal as a scum play, and it does seem like a good one. He’s got people saying that he’s “the closest thing to an innocent townie” or somesuch simply because he claimed to have a power role - a power role that he refuses to elaborate on. Anyone can claim to have a power role if it doesn’t require some results to be demonstrated.

On the other hand, no one else has stepped forward to say that they are really the other Investigator, and it does seem strange for only one side to have one. But, maybe the person is just keeping quiet. **Zeriel** did give a different name for his power, remember? Maybe the scum detective is called Investigator instead of Cop (like Ichini was) and that was a slip. When they killed Ichini, they probably didn’t know about his power at all, and so didn’t expect that title to be revealed.

Other than that, it looks like he’s just thrown some token accusations at **Telcontar** and at **MHaye** due to some kind of personal grudge. He’s definitely someone to keep an eye on.
