It looks like the Giraffe-board game I’m in is about over, or at least on auto-pilot. So sign me up for this one. Questions about the rules: 1. Is this single vote per player, or multi-vote? 2. Are there any non-vanilla roles (for Town or Wolf)? 3. Are there any non-Town, non-Wolf players? 4. Are there any post restrictions (at Night, for example)? 5. How long do Nights last? ---

Rules questions: 1. Are there aliens? 2. Does this game ‘count’ in a metaphysical sense? 3. To what extent is telepathy a valid tactic? 4. What about editing or PMing other players? 5. #4 was not a question, it was simply electrons creating the image of a question. 6. Did you set up separate categories for your spoiler boards and set-up boards, or did you just chuck them together in the ‘Werewolf mini mafia’ category? ---

48-hour Nights? That’s fairly long. Is there a possibility of recruitment? (Hopefully no.) Also, please, please, please, publicly post any text repeated among multiple role PMs. This is usually the vanilla role PM, but might be other things as well. ---

NETA : That is to say, I do find your request for a get out of Die you Scum Die! card to be a bit anti town. Even before the game starts. I don’t understand your request. I mean, why town would make it. [I see the logic in it, sure, just, it’s not good for town logic.] Do you already have a role for this game?! That would be something : You sign up for a _Regular_ mafia, but once you get your role, you find you are already conscripted into a second game, to follow, and your actions in the first game, determine your role in the second. Also, boo on the amount of traffic on the boards right now. ---

Actually I was debating whether or not to make them24 or 48 hours–I’ll probably go back to 24 hours. As for recruitment…I’m going to be evil and not answer. 😃 ---

Hmmm… Freudian, have you aske permission to post an “ad” for this on Giraffe boards? It’s taking a bit of time to fill. Hoever, Gasterds is over now, so perhaps a PM out to players in that game could get this game filled and running. ---

The role I’m currently playing is “Mafia Game Designer”. I will often give advice and critiques to other Mafia game designers just as I expect others to do the same for me. That way, we all get to play better Mafia games. Mafia games with closed rules sets (such as this one) have a possible exploit when players share hidden information. The players can use their shared secret to confirm each other and determine who doesn’t share the secret. This can even be done without revealing the secret. This exploit is usually beneficial to the side who doesn’t already know its own members–the Town. I’d rather the loophole is closed, but if it exists I will make use of it when I’m a player. So my advice to the designer and moderator of this game is to close the exploit unless they intend for it to be used. It’s a fair warning. ---
