I still don’t think that was a real attack. Charlie and Debbie were not given Cipro to take IIRC. If it had been real, they would have been given the antibiotics.

I also don’t think a real attack would have been taken care of in 43 minutes. The White House would have been shut down for a while and people wouldn’t have been strolling out.

I still think the most significant scene, and one that will spill over into future episodes, is of Donna leaving when Josh yelled for her. Before her talk with CJ, she would have without fail stopped walking out the door and gone back to his office. I think she realizes now that her crush on him has held her back and that her feelings are thoroughly unrequited.

I hope that the way this goes is that she begins to concentrate on her career. But I’m afraid that what the writers will do is make this into a Josh thing, where he begins to appreciate her as he senses her slipping away and they become a couple.
