So I’m house-sitting for my parents while they’re out of town and playing around on the computer which is also in my father’s record room. My dad has a huge record collection, about 5000-6000 45’s and 2000-3000 LP’s. While I’m on the Straight Dope, I remember our very own **aha** and check the 45’s to see if my dad has _Western Union_ since I had never heard it. It was easy enough to find, since one of my dad’s dividers was labeled “Five Americans.” (He also has _Zip Code_ in case you were wondering.) So I take the record out and listen to it, and when I put it back in its sleeve I switch the stereo from “phono” to “FM”, where my dad has it set to an Oldies station (no offense). Guess what they were playing - _Zip Code_. I’d never heard either of these songs before and now here they are back-to-back, one on the record player and the other on the radio. Weird, huh? ---

_Western Union_ was the second thing I got on Napster. Not bad, but I wouldn’t pay for it. My mom remembers hearing it on the radio when it was new. [sub]The first song I got with the Lesser Evil? _Sin Wagon_. Is that ironic or what? [/sub] ---

I wouldn’t sell those now, I just have to wait for the old man to kick it and all those records get willed to me anyway. Sounds mean, I know, but my dad and I joke about it all the time. It is tempting now that you mention it though . . . How much would the Beatle’s White Album go for in near mint condition, still with the poster? ---
