Was watching the drama unfold on the BOM website! This morning it said you had 70mm since 9.00am yesterady. Just a shame that the rain fell on the seaboard and not further out west where it’s desperately needed. Oh well, not time to put the wellies away just yet…more rain today. 😛 ---

We got 6 inches in 4 hours here a couple months ago. Roads all over town were flooded out and my garden has never been the same since. ---

Aren’t you guys supposed to be getting spring? Parts of Toronto got [a month’s worth of rain in two hours](http://news.nationalpost.com/2013/07/08/commuter-go-train-partially-underwater-after-toronto-floods-passengers-evacuated-by-zip-line/) a while ago. ---

I believe the very long trough between the two large high’s created the storm, the low was an effect of the storm, not the creator of it.
