You had the 70s, the 80s, and the 90s. What’s the generally accepted designation for our current decade? The Aughts? the Ohs? the zips? ---

A generally accepted version does obviously not exist yet; if it did, you wouldn’t have to ask this question. IMHO it doesn’t make any sense to discuss this question now, at the very beginning of the decade. During the next 10 years, one version will arise and gain popularity, and this will be the generally accepted name. ---
