I find it hard to understand how acids, alcohols and lanolin can be good for my skin. Petroleum jelly is gonna be my go to. Watch me get allergies from it. Just my luck. ---

The consumers paying these prices are taking one up the butt and in the wallet. There is no reason it should be expensive. It’s a by product on oil rigs. I remember my grandad getting it from the oil field for cuts and scrapes. Lanolin is a natural ingredient in wool, so it’s definitely good for sheep skin. “Acids and alcohols” are added to adjust the pH and texture. ---

But sadly, it seems to work better for me than Vaseline. So I pay up for the tiny tubes that I can use on my lips without smearing my finger with it and then applying because just about anything else or any other method may cause allergy reactions ---
