1. Clash City Rockers - The Clash 2. Complete Control - The Clash 3. Cherub Rock - Smashing Pumpkns 4. Perspex Icon - Wire 5. Ugly Girl Lover - Flop These are, however, all heavily influenced by my exercise playlist, which has songs with an 85-90 cadence (so either a tempo of 85-90 bpm or 170-180 bpm, depending on whether I’m running to the quarter notes or eight notes.) Eliminating exercise music gets me this: 1. Help Me Mary - Liz Phair 2. Mass Romantic - New Pornographers 3. Little Ones - Parts & Labor 4. Entropy - Flop 5. The Headmaster Ritual - The Smiths ---

1. Eruyt Village, Final Fantasy XII soundtrack, 89x 2. Carbon, Tori Amos, 68x (although that would be a lot higher if I hadn’t reset the playcount a while back) 3. I’m on Fire, Bruce Springsteen, 55x 4. Strange, Tori Amos, 49x 5. Crazy, Tori Amos, 49x 6. Calm Before the Storm, Final Fantasy X soundtrack, 48x That’s kind of odd to look at, considering the music I listen to in my car is either nasty heavy metal, funk or alt-country. I didn’t realize it until now, but those FF soundtracks have about taken over my top 25. Out of 25, 8 are from those soundtracks, 13 are from Scarlet’s Walk by Tori Amos, 2 are Springsteen, 1 is Great Big Sea and 1 is Ian Thornley. ---

I’m surprised what came up. 1. Waiting – Santana 2. Lola – The Kinks 3. Good Times Bad Times – Led Zeppelin 4. Eleanor Rigby – The Beatles 5t. Got to Get You Into my Life – The Beatles 5t. So What – Miles Davis 5t. Freddy Feeloader The list is somewhat random. I usually listen to an album at a time; the variation here is probably because the song came up randomly more than many others. Only three plays separate my first from fifth choices, and only six plays separate #1 from #40, so one or two extra random plays make a difference. ---
