Motley Crue, “Girls Girls Girls.” Btw, try having my name at the height of Poison’s popularity (regarding ERHIT). “Heh heh, you like that song don’t you Rose… eeeeevery Rooooose has it’s thooooorn… heh heh heh.” Over and over and over and… edged out for first place, however, by Seal’s “Kiss from a Rose,” which is not hair metal so I’ll be quiet now 🙂 ---

_Coming Home_ by Cinderella and now, thanks to **Coldfire** , _Unskinny Bop_ by Poison! I have to say, I _love_ the hair bands. I was one of the teeny boppers who fell in love with every long haired lead singer there was. (with a few exceptions. Have you ever seen Dee Snyder without his make-up… yuck!) I went to see Dokken, Cinderella, Slaughter, and Poison in concert last year. :eek: That Bret Michaels is still a hotty… I’d do him anyday. ---

I Liked Twisted Sister… How about (I forget the name) by W.A.S.P.?(the one where they were playing on a mountain in the video) What? No mentions of Kiss? They were good! Heavens on Fire was good. ---

The merits of hair metal? It’s cool. Nothing else need be said. As soon as I saw the title of this thread, I started humming Europe’s “Final Countdown”. Someone else typed up the rhythm, so I won’t bother, but I love that song! ---

Bass follows lead, at speed, with two less strings. Magnificent. Couldn’t possibly care less about the words. I had such a crush on Bruce Dern… And last MPSIMS for this, I have irredeemably corrupted my eldest son. He’s nine, and likes it HEAVY. Rob Zombie is his current fave. Much to the horror of some less enlightened adults. Oh yeah - redeeming value. Huhmmmmm, lemme look. Hmmmm. Well, in some cases it didn’t say much, but it was said coherently and sorta melodically, in a fashion in which you could actually hear the words. Mostly. As opposed to thrash and death metal, in which the voices and guitars were so badly distorted as to make the whole thing pointless to me, anyways. Plus, oddly enough, under all that mascara and hair, there were a couple 'r three decent poets. They figured out how to make it pay, and pay well. ---
