And screw anyone who says “Well it made you remember it, hyuk, hyuk”. The scene opens on a couple doing the morning thing- woman at the breakfast nook reading the paper, sleepy husband in the background getting the milk out of the fridge. He takes a big drink out of the carton, GAGS, and spews it out- the whole mouthful. She doesn’t even glance up from the paper and says “The refrigerator is broken!” Meanwhile, the guy looks like he just ate a bag of worms and I nearly lost my fucking lunch. I get seriously grossed out by milk to begin with- the idea of drinking bad milk makes me want to heave, and this ad it just fucking gross! I’ve seen it probably 4 times, and the spewing scene happens so fast I usually can’t change the channel quick enough. Why don’t they just show him later with the shits from drinking bad milk? Projectile shits would sell lots of appliances. Zette ---

Actually, I haven’t seen that commercial, but it sounds pretty funny. Then, I grew up on Warner Brothers cartoons, and love a good spit-take. Plus, I have a hard time telling if milk is bad until it’s _really_ bad, so being grossed out about bad milk doesn’t factor into my reaction. Eh. Just my one cent (it’s not worth two). ---

That ad makes both me and my wife laugh out loud. It cracks me up everytime I see it. Now, if I could only get rid of the Mazda Zoom-Zoom kid, my life would be much better! ---

I think it’s the husband’s sneaky look over at his wife’s back to see if she’s watching before he drinks straight from the carton…and her secret smile…that make the commercial cool(to me). It’s a wee bit gross because of the spewing of bad milk, but there’s that feminine sense of “uh-huh” satisfaction, I mean she knew exactly what he was up to; but that part is kind of subtle. Well, subtle in the relative context of advertisement land. I appreciate that some advertisers try and do something different than the whole “flash some T&A and choppy camerawork and editing” approach. I second the Mike’s Hard Iced Tea ick feeling. And here’s one, tell me if I’m oversensitive…there’s a beer commercial (Heineken?) where it’s just a guy sitting on a chair talking about “the tease…the innocent flip of the hair…” He appears to become increasingly sexually excited and frustrated talking about the “millions” of ways that women tease him sexually, deliberately driving him crazy, knowing it, controlling him…I mean, that’s the gist. Anyway, it sounded to me like a total date rapist speech. Does anybody else hear that in this commercial, or is it just me? ---

I think the milk and fridge commercial is pretty damn funny. Its one of the first ones I can remember in a while that made me laugh out loud. ---

Zette, man, that commercial cracks me up…reminds me of a time my then-boyfriend took out a thing of milk from my fridge. He smelled it, knowing fully that it was bad. He proceeded to tell me, as he poured it down the drain, how chunky and nasty it was. I gagged and almost puked as he said it but it was a funny thing to me after I yelled at him all the while he was pouring it in the sink. I can’t stand spoiled foods but that commercial cracks me up every time. ---

I dunno if you get these commercials in America, but the Pampers nappy/diaper ads mildly annoy me. For fucks sake, I don’t want to see a baby’s arse waved about the screen while I’m eating! I don’t care how absorbent they are, or how dry the babies backside been kept! _mutter_ ---

My husband rarely laughs out loud, but the bad milk commercial makes him laugh so hard he has the milk shootin’ out his nose! Sears has a series of these new commercials and they’re all funny. ---

If you don’t like milk, there’s another horrendous commercial out there that will kill you. I’ll be dipped in shit, but I can’t remember what it’s a commercial for. But the bottom line is that you need an education to get somewhere in life. To do that, they show a kid drinking glasses of rotten milk, and nearly gagging. The shot pulls out a little, and you can see the placard on his desk that shows he’s an “expiration date tester”. I thought it was totally gross. But then, I never drink milk that’s a day past the date on the carton… ---

Gawd, that commercial makes me heave also. It always brings back memories of when I was 10 years old and I snuck a drink from the milk carton. What I didn’t realize until it was too late was that my dad was using the carton to store a duck he had shot. I got a mouthful of raw duck juice/blood.
