Yikes, I read **Zette’s** OP (I haven’t seen the commercial) and thought to myself “well, that’s not so bad. Unless you’re the kind of person who has a weird spoiled milk phobia.” A whopping 60 seconds later, after reading **Diane’s** post, I AM NOW A PERSON WITH A WEIRD SPOILLED MILK PHOBIA. ---

aaaargh! Diane and Ivylass have just curbed my hunger and thirst for life. Yeeech. I do always sniff the milk jug before a drink, but now I have to look inside every time to make sure there’s no DUCK in there! I haven’t seen that annoying PEPSI girl in awhile - suppose they figured out the ‘Jar-Jar Binks factor’ (as in: people hate that character)? ---

You guys are right- my pre-existing milk-a-phobia is what gets me- I used to get so sick on regular milk (not sour) that seeing that guy retch up bad milk then make gagging noises while he spews it out almost always makes my gut cramp like I"m going to hurl. On the other hand, I DO love a good “drink spray” in commercials or on TV. Just not a “bad milk spray” complete with choking, gagging sounds and vomiting. Zette ---

The first time I saw it I was waiting for the wife to lay into him for not using a cup. And then they pulled that 180º on us. I thought it was really funny. But then my stomach can handle anything, except for hair clogs in drains. You see once I had to dig through one of those large garbage bins the garbage trucks pick up a few days after thanksgiving (no pick-up since the thursday) looking for some VERY IMPORTANT PAPERS my mother accidentally threw out. 2 hours in there gave me an iron stomach. My vote for most disgusting? The animated bear cubs shitting behind the trees then using the toilet paper, ewwwwwwww! ---

mike has a lot of “cooler” drinks like hard lemonade ect its just probably some malt liquor with some instant tea like smiroff ice is just lemon flavored malt liquor ect malt liquor has replaced wine in “coolers” these days cuase its stronger and cheaper But basically your drinking a yuppie version of olde english 800 ect ---

I’ve never seen the Iced Tea…just Lemonade, some Lemonade/berry combo I can’t remember, and Orange. As to the OP, I’ve never seen the ad, but it sounds pretty damn funny. If icky. ---

If you think that ad is nasty, you apparently haven’t seen the chocolate milk ad with the girl gargling milk & syrup. That one makes me sick every time it comes on. btw - the Hard Iced Tea tastes just like Nestea in a can. Pretty good, if you like that sort of thing. ---

1. The reason I hate the Sears commercial is not because of the spoiled milk factor. In fact, there was a 7-up commercial where people were shown drinking, then spewing, all manner of things, including rotten milk, dishwater, bile, and chum, to show that 7-up would win in a taste test. That I found funny. The reason the Sears ad is just awful is because this woman is sitting right there knowing that her hubby is about to drink putrid rotten milk AND SHE DOESN’T WARN OR STOP HIM! Couldn’t her point of “The fridge is broken” be just as effective if she said, “Don’t drink the milk! It’s spoiled!” [Did anyone else just have a Little Rascals flashback to when they said that?] Or am I supposed to believe that his drinking from the carton (ooh, what a freaking sin) makes him deserve a mouthful of sour chunky spoiled milk? I don’t think so, and I hate that woman more and more every time I see her smug little face on that commercial. 2. I think the milk/chocolate gargler is a boy rather than a girl, but I’m not sure. It’s pretty annoying too, though. Yes, it’s a list of two items. I do that on purpose now, because the “Hi whatsyourface” thing is that annoying to me. ---
