not to beat a dead horse here, chaos, but mermaid has repeatedly stated that she WILL pay any damages she is liable for (if they can show her dog caused the damage). Rest of the post was spot on 😉 ---

In fact (as I said) I sympathise with the pain she feels. My heated responses were for others in this thread who have spouted hypotheticals, equating dogs to humans, denying responsibility, and in a particularly vile post, suggesting that they would sic a large dog on me if I should even suggest dismay that my son was injured by her dog. ---

The way I see it, unless I felt I was responsible (which I wouldn’t in this case), I wouldn’t expect any money from me that wasn’t so ordered by a court of law. ---
