I can rewrite people’s resumes to make them look like the best thing going. I’m a good communicator. And I’m hyper-observant of people and nuance. I have excellent peripheral vision. ---

I’m positive I’ve seen it and maybe even used it in this way (tongue-in-cheek/non-insulting) outside of the Pit). ---

I’m interested in learning a lot of things for no other reason than “I don’t know much about that, howzit work?” Unfortunately, I don’t stick with it long enough to become an expert in anything, but I do have what’s been called “Jeopardy-level knowledge” of science, history, literature, finance, fashion and a lot of other things. It comes in handy a lot at work writing car catalogs or annual reports for banks and pharmaceutical companies, since I can appoach most jobs without being completely lost. In college, I also had a good ‘feel’ for physics, although I couldn’t hack the math at all. One of my math major roommates was taking an “applications in physics” course that involved all sorts of weird thought problems like “how much energy would you need to put a golf ball on the moon?” I’d do approximations in my head and he’d work out the actual formulas. When our answers were way off from each other, he’d go back to check his math, and almost always caught an error that brought him closer to my answer when fixed. ---

I’m good at posting in the 50th post of a thread so that no one will ever read my garbage. I don’t even seem to need to practise this; it just happens. So, I guess it’s more like a gift, than a talent I’ve had to work on. ---

Of course you can’t use it as an insult as the guy is smiling and winking, implying a tongue-in-cheek tone. : Sigh : ---
