If Biden decides not to invite Trump, he probably would feel it necessary not to invite Obama or Bush, but the royals could invite them on their own, I suppose. I doubt the House of Windsor has any desire to see Trump at the funeral. ---

It was announced on the news a couple hours ago that President Biden and his wife Jill have been invited to attend the funeral. Other officials may travel to Britain with them, but those people won’t be at the funeral. Space is clearly at a premium. ---

In all serious, I think Biden should invite him along with all the other ex-POTUSes. Be the bigger man, and reinforce the idea that protocol and tradition count. 65% that Trump declines the invite, but if he accepts, 95% that he embarrasses himself. ---
