> Ok, this may be a really stupid question, or maybe I just haven’t had enough coffee yet on a Monday morning, but how can it be considered a sequel if it is completely unrelated to the original? Just because they give it the same name and stick a “II” on the end it’s suddenly a “sequel”?

It’s a mystery, wrapped in a riddle, inside an enigma, with excessive force on force.

Also from the Wikipedia entry, here is the entire summary of the plot:

> Harly Cordell is an agent looking for revenge against her ex-boyfriend, now a criminal, who tried to kill her by shooting her in the head.

Isn’t that great? It’s the most generic action movie idea you can imagine, but I do like that they specified HOW her ex-boyfriend tried to kill her, and specifically what body part “Harly” was shot in. In terms of understanding what the film is about, the phrase “by shooting her in the head” is wholly unnecessary, but they just had to get it in there.

The movie’s star, Stacie Randall, had a fifteen-year career in movies of absolutely delightful description. For instance, she also starred in “Demolition High,” basically “Die Hard in a high school but without a budget,” which starred Corey Haim, Alan Thicke, and in a marvel of against-type casting, Dick Van Patten as a general. The following year she had a role in “Evil Obsession,” which starred the other Corey, Feldman.

You do know I completely made up those two movie names?
ETA: these are oriented the wrong way but the movie poster would have “Dagger II” with 🗡 🗡 for the II

They’re pretty good names. I’d certainly steal _Dagger II: Double-Edged_ for my action parody.

Well they certainly sounded plausible enough.
