If you’re an Amazon Prime member, you probably know that you can check out audiobooks for selected titles for free. I’m looking for recommendations. I’ve listened to the Brilliance Trilogy, the Origin Trilogy and the Tracy Crosswhite trilogy. I’d prefer fiction suggestions but if you know of some good non-fiction, lay it on me.

TIA.

I’m not usually into fiction in my audiobooks. But two I really enjoyed were _Jonathan Strange & Mr. Norrell_ by Susanna Clarke (read by Simon Prebble) and _Soon I Will be Invincible_ by Austin Grossman (read by Paul Boehmer and Coleen Marlo).

Actually, I didn’t know that.

I did know that Prime members could borrow selected titles of Kindle ebooks for free (one per month)—does this go along with that? Or are you confusing Prime with “Kindle Unlimited”? Or is this a third thing that I’m unaware of?

And whichever it is, is there a way to obtain a listing of the “selected titles” that are eligible? If so, that’d help us know what we have to choose from in our recommendations.

Ah crap. :smack:

Yes I am confusing Prime with Kindle Unlimited. My wife signed us up for KU so it’s kind of an “out of sight, out of mind” thing to me. You can see a list of titles here. [Amazon.com](https://www.amazon.com/s?ie=UTF8&page=2&rh=n%3A9630682011). I’d greatly appreciate any recommendations.

Looking through that list, I’m seeing a lot of books I’m unfamiliar with, and a fair number of classics, many of which are worth reading but I couldn’t tell you about the quality of the audio narration. I did see [Off To Be the Wizard](https://www.amazon.com/Off-Wizard-Magic-2-0-Book-ebook/dp/B00EF8Z32I/ref=sr_1_897?s=digital-text&ie=UTF8&qid=1469716976&sr=1-897), which I’ve listened to and enjoyed (though haven’t yet gotten to books #2 and 3 in the series). It’s not _great_ by any means, but it’s dumb fun, light reading, and the narration suits the book just fine: cartoony in a mostly-good way.

Thanks. I’ll check it out. I mainly listen on my drive to/from work so “light” works well for me.
