Hmmmm. That’s a toss up. Either a big teddy bear, so I will always get lots of hugs; _I love hugs, lots and lots and lots of hugs_ or a giraffe. A coelacanth. I’d spend my days lurking in the deep sea, contemplating my perfect adaptation to my environment and my 410 million years of evolution. I’d have seen the dinosaurs come and go. I’d have seen the first fish (a cousin!) crawl onto the land. I’d have seen the rise and eventual domination of a certain hairless monkey. Man, what a species. This question brings back some horrible memories of a job interview I had several years ago. The interviewer asked this exact question. I told him I wanted to be a crocodile since a croc has no natural predators. No, I did not get that job. Amazingly, I got the question in a job interview once too. Just because I found the question so utterly ridiculous, I answered that I would like to be a male rabbit in a rabbit-hutch. well normally i would say Lion, but I think I may have to agree with Johnny, me. Maybe not exactly animal, but a species all my own, or at least of only a select(read insane) few. * * * This life is a test. It is only a test. A howler monkey, just because they have a pretty neat name. I could sidle up to a comely lemur at a jungle party and say something like “Hi there, I’m Chris the howler monkey. Will you help me show you why they call me that?” * * * Voted Rookie of the Year in MPSIMs and the Pit, along with Best One-liners. Because a bird can fly farther and higher. Also, they are bigger, so they probably get more out of life than bugs. Birds don’t get swatted like flies, and they don’t eat trash and waste. Plus, some birds can sing. A worker bee or a drone, now that would be awful. Although, that is pretty much what I am now!
