A moose once bit my sister…
Sorry.
A moose once bit my sister…
Sorry.
Lots of little things, nothing big.
Mouse (laboratory, not wild)
Mosquitoes, singly and in bulk. My first lab job included tending a colony of Aedes aegypti mosquitoes; I once gave 2 cagefuls blood meals off of my arms.
Spider
Fleas
Ants
Water strider
Horseflies
Deer flies
Snake (black rat snake, very small, more a scratch than a bite)
dogs (only my own, never a stray)
cats
horses
bees (once, I am allergic)
-scarlet macaw
-hamsters
-gerbils
-guinea pig
-budgie
Amazingly I worked at a petstore and generally got away unscathed, except for the damn hamsters and budgies. We used to make deals (I’ll clean the dog pens for the next two days if you get the hamster) to avoid the hamsters.
I also avoided the wolf fish whose owner turned him in after the thing gave him a wound requiring seven stitches to close.
I am a wasp magnet. Stung all the time.

… sigh … Yeah, I’ve lived a full life …
Hamster - The scar on my thumb is still there 40+ years later.
Painted turtle - When holding a turtle near your stomach, shirtless, hold him facing out instead of in.
Cat - Takes forever to heal.
Snake - Garter snakes. Some are nice. Some bite.
Sparrow - It was caught in a windowsill. I was trying to free it. Surprisingly good bite for a little birdie.
Pelican - He was sitting on the rail on the pier at Pompano Beach. Guess I invaded his person space.
Dog #1 - A friend’s dog. Evidently, very protective of the front seat of the truck. Drew blood from the bridge of my nose.
Dog #2 - German Short-haired pointer puppy. It was just being exuberant. Sunk one of those needle-like fangs in, you guessed it, my nose.
Raccoon - Cute as hell as a baby. Mean as hell when all growed up.
Horse - Bit me right in the middle of the back. Bastard. That one hurt.
Drunk - Helping him into his friend’s car. Bit my finger. Lucky he has any teeth left.
