Besides Hope, a few that come to mind are: Defiance, Ohio Independence, Missouri (and also Kansas) Liberty, Missouri (and other states). Anchorage, Alaska Republic, Missouri Adjacent is Noel, Missouri, which (perhaps disappointingly) is not named for Christmas, but rather Messers Noel (to rhyme with pole), who founded the town. But it also means “Christmas,” so… ---
