I’ve got a few, but I think my strongest contender is that I’ve never consumed a complete serving of any alcoholic beverage. My lifetime alcohol consumption is probably around an ounce or two of wine (after which I figured out why I sometimes got sick after church). ---

Wow, never having had coffee or pizza – I can’t compete with that! I think I’ve done most of the mundane things mentioned here (never skied, either snow or water, but who cares, right?) and I’ve done a few totally non-mundane things, but no way I’m gonna win this. Best I can come up with on short notice is that – becoming less and less of a TV watcher as time goes on – I’m sure that I’ve never seen a full episode of any new TV series that’s been on in the last five years, and very probably in the last ten\*. In fact I probably wouldn’t even recognize the names of 90% of them. But that’s not, like, a lifetime “never”. I know, I’m hopeless at this. Except for the non-skiing, I got nothing. - Having just written this, it occurs to me that _Downton Abbey_ ruined my perfect record, dammit, so we have to say “except for that” or add “domestic TV series”. Wait, does _Real Time with Bill Maher_ count as a “TV series”? Make that “commercial domestic TV series” that I never watch. Aw, fuck it. There’s practically no mundane stupid thing that I haven’t done. 😃 ---

Haven’t done any of the OP ones except (snow) skiing. And I was very young then and not living in snow country. Now I live in snow land but haven’t skiied since living here. Never been to NYC/NYS. Of the 20 [top grossing movies](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_highest-grossing_films): never Avatar, Titanic, any Furious film, Frozen, Minions, Skyfall, Transformers beyond the first two. No Rogue One, but I’ll rectify that soon. Funny enough, I’ve read one Harry Potter book, and it wasn’t the first one (job with a lot of downtime, raided brother’s bookshelf in an emergency). Never studied Spanish despite living in California. Never studied calculus. Never a D or F. Not been in a fight except coldclocked once. I have worn a t-shirt, but haven’t in 5-10 years. ---

Driven a motor vehicle or had a driver’s license. Sent or received a telegram. Tweeted. Gone hunting. Owned land. Owned my own business. Had offspring. Visited Disneyland, Disney World, Disney Galaxy, or any actual theme park (though I have been to Camden Park amusement park in Huntington, West Virginia, and the boardwalk in Ocean City, Maryland). Worn a tuxedo, a bow tie, a derby hat or anything seersucker. Eaten a soft-boiled egg. Donated blood (as opposed to selling plasma, which I did on occasion when I was down and out). ---

I have never used an ATM. I have never “streamed” a movie or anything. I have never played video games. I have never climbed Squaw Peak; it’s 5 miles away and I’ve lived here 45 years. ---

I’ve never been dumped. Yep, it’s true. (Before you hate me, I should explain that I was raised in a chaotic home filled with mental illness and dysfunction. As a young person I had a strict zero tolerance policy for conflict and drama. Such things are, of course, not uncommon in youthful relationships. At the first whiff, I’d be out the door! By the time I’d recognized I _could_ actually handle such stuff, I’d already fallen in with my now partner, 30+ years ago.) (I have never, ever, not once, shared this with anyone. Anticipating being harshly judged and called names. Plus it’s not really anything to be proud of, I feel. I was simply being immature in a different way from my peers is all.) ---

Looks like the competition is about things common and mundane. By my age, I don’t think there is anything like that, which I haven’t done. Skydiving isn’t common. bungee jumping isn’t common. Most purposely life-endangering entertainments are not common, even at the height of their fad, so they don’t work. And despite the fact that even our… amusing…President does it all the time, even tweeting isn’t “common.” I know more people like me who never have, than people who do.
