Thanks for all the suggestions guys. I would really love to go the City Museum, but my friends would rather not spend the money since “they’re poor college kids.” I’m debating over which brewery to go to: anheuser busch or schlafly. Sequent, 4/20 is one of my very favorite days as well. What makes the university city loop an interesting place?
Another vote for the Bowling Museum. I really enjoyed it, too.
If you enjoy walking through old cemeteries, Calvary Cemetery is quite lovely and full of history.
Here a list of the Historic House Museums in St. Louis, too, if you also enjoy that kind of thing (history, architecture, etc.)
It’s a trendy area with lots of places to eat, shop and drink. You can get a good burger and microbrewed rootbeer at Fitz’s or good food at Chuck Berry’s Blueberry Hill. You can shop for a wide range of music at Vintage Vinyl or catch a offbeat/indie movie at the Tivoli. Mostly it’s a place to see and be seen.
