No, and that’s something wrong with the internet culture as it exists; “talking shit” _shouldn’t be free._ If you talk too much shit IRL, there are social consequences. Even if you restrict it to message boards (which I don’t believe for a minute you do) there **are** real life stakes, even if they’re only in how people see themselves and others. That perception guides behavior, and it’s why traditional forms of social opprobrium and reinforcement need representation on-line. So go ahead and be a shit-talkin’ asshole, but expect some consequences, mild as the may be in the form of pittings. But sooner or later if we’re doing things right on this board you’ll get hit with the ban-stick. And no one will miss your shit. ---
