# What are some good strategies for paring down your erotica video collection? With the recent push by erotica media content creators to distribute their erotica media content in high definition with file sizes upwards of 4 gigabytes per 30 minute video (examples include: Brazzer’s Mommy Got Boobs, Baby Got Boobs, and Naughty America’s various MILF series, etc.) I am running out of hard drive space and I already have 9 (nine!) hard drives. There is just so much on my hard drive that I haven’t even had a chance to watch and I just don’t have the time to watch them all and delete the ones that I don’t like. I’m basically stuck. I can’t delete them in batches because I’m worried I’ll want them after they’re gone. When I have tried to watch them, I end up jacking off and not completing the task at hand. Sometimes, I just wish I didn’t have so much porn. What are some approaches that you have taken to recover hard drive space? ---

Put it all in the Cloud. That way you have no responsibility for deleting it. ---

If it means anything, scientists are hard at work on holographic DVD technology. You can store a terabyte on one DVD. Have you considered emailing GE and explaining your situation? I’m sure the tech department is full of single guys who can empathize and I’m sure someone will print the email and hang it in their cubicle. I would. How big are your hard drives? I’ve seen 3TB external drives for $100. Do you have like 20+ TB of high quality porn? You can change your videos to lower the quality if you want to free up space. Mine are short, low quality videos and I’ve got less than 30GB. This is the first time I’ve felt inadequate about the quantity of my porn collection. ---

I’ve actually begun replacing the HD stuff with much smaller .mp4 files. I never watch it full-screen anyhow and the mp4’s are just fine in a window. ---

The videos I watch are usually about 200MB/hr in quality and look fine (more or less, not quite DVD but fairly decent quality) when full sized on a laptop screen. You were saying your videos were 8GB/hr in quality. You could probably really compress your videos and they’d still be watchable. ---

Any time I am low on space, I scan my drives and look for the biggest rectangles to sort through. Don’t waste your time trying to trim your porn collection file by file, go after the low hanging fruit. ---
