Based on last night’s election results, there a few states to keep an eye on with regard to Medicaid: Nebraska, Utah & Idaho all apparently passed Medicaid expansion at the ballot box. I’m assuming they will now each move to expand Medicaid. Maine elected a Democrat governor, which means that the already-passed Expansion in their state will now move forward. Similar situation with Kansas. Nevada & New Mexico were both looking to potentially add Medicaid buy-in options for their states. They both now have Democrat governors, which makes it more likely that they will pursue a Medicaid buy-in.
