What are the best metal albums of the past 10 years(2010-2020)

I think Sepultura - Last Time from their new Quadra is one of the best metal tracks of the last 10 years if you want just one song to listen to.

Here is the music video. Love this song.

Derrick Green’s best vocal performance is on this new album.

I liked The Satanist. I didn’t like the one that came after it nearly as much. I think the black metal death metal thing they do is pretty cool (not really blackened death, or at least not like other Blackened Death I have heard.)

2014

Benighted - Carnivore Sublime (the audio on these videos is super-hot, eh; watch your levels) is super awesome brutal death metal/grindcore from France. Fantastic vocals. Excellent riffs. Mile-a-second pace. Overwhelming and relentless. Cool album art, too.

Expire - Pretty Low - Punk as fuck metallic hardcore perfection. “I’m at a crossroad / Where you choose / You either fight, or you lose / Refuse to let my life be reduced to rubble /
When the shit keeps piling up, get a shovel” is one of the best lyrics I’ve heard in the last 30 years.

Ringworm - Hammer Of The Witch - The Human Furnace is matched by the band on this one. Furious metallic hardcore, all anger and determination and yelling and moshing plus some fucking kick-ass guitar work.

Vaginal Penetration Of An Amelus With A Carrot split with Teen Pussy Fuckers - A Fairytale Full Of Apotemnophiliac Moments - Split album but each band totally delivers. BRUTAL fucking whacked out grindcore; not for the faint of heart.

BONUS!

I can’t recommend the whole album, nor have I been overly enthusiastic about most of the rest of their output since, but one song from 2014 stands out as one of my favorite songs of all time: from their album Nothing For Us Here, check out the simmering rage, confusion and horror that is Cult Leader - Mongrel. This song is a brutal slow-burn to despair and terror; done to perfection!

I wonder if you have seen that they did a Covid-19 Relief Effort concert and put it up on Youtube free of charge.
