The standard advice (not sure how accurate it is, but it is irrelevant as most people seem to believe it) - is to wait three months before telling anyone - as if the fetus makes it to 3 months - then it is more likely that it will make it full term. Stop worrying. You have a much better chance she gave you MRSA or HIV than you got her pregnant. Only slightly joking about the last part. Substitute Herpes and/or HPV and I’m not. ---

From post #3: “child support” This is really a very hypothetical life-situation-arc from the OP’s situation, which certainly seems to be a closed matter. First, how often is a Child Support claim made over a pregnancy from a one-night stand? (I’m inclined to think of one night stands in terms of “promiscuity” although I’m sure there are exceptions. A newly separated woman has sex with exactly one man in the following six months, say.) How is the determination made that male Y is the father? I mean, sure, now there is DNA testing, but how is male Y convinced/coerced to having his DNA or any other related stuff tested? Without compliance, I see “She said, He said” emerging. And, finally, would there be any mitigating factors on the man’s side that would cause the woman to lose the court case? Let’s say SHE deliberately pours alcohol down HIS throat, with “affectionate” forethought, climbs on top of him and puts it in… (Okay, I’m sure the folks here could do better on this sort of hypothetical “out” than I have here. Heh.) Just wondering. Personally, I’m practically “retired” from the casual sex scene. ---

You accused her of lying to you. You pestered this woman with text messages until she told you to cut it out. A lot of women get roses after sex. She got a haranguing. Not nice. No wonder she said she hates you and told you to get lost. In any case, she’s either pregnant or she’s not. Any speculation by anyone here won’t change that. If she’s pregnant you may or may not find out about it later. You’ll just have to live with the very small possibility that you’ve fathered a child. It seems likely that, after the way you’ve treated her, the only way you might hear from her again is through a lawyer. You had a chance to keep communications open, and you blew it. I agree with the others who have said that unprotected sex with a stranger is very foolish. ---

Holy shit! You sound just like me… when I was 16! I’m going to stir the pot and say that I think you’re fucked and she is definitely pregnant. Even if you didn’t get her pregnant she is probably hooking up with total strangers and trying to get pregnant to hook them and now that she knows that you’re scared shitless she knows she has an easy mark!
